Jaguar Sighting

Tags: Wild Things
On the way home this afternoon a beautiful, sleek, black cat the size of a Labrador Retriever ran across the road in front of me. What a beautiful animal it is! Its shoulder were sinuous and muscular and moved independently of its haunches, with a long, lithe torso in between. It was a true treat to see that animal today.
Ok, so it's a puma, right?

Gravatar Image1 - Hmm, I suppose you called it a jaguar (a cat indigenous to Latin America) to avoid confusion. Seeing older women chase young men across the road is getting to be a rather common sight these days, so using "Cougar sighting" would have not enticed many people to read the post.
