Here's the most recent news on her husband's condition:
The MRI on Sunday showed the mass had increased a lot in size just since the previous one a few days before so they decided they couldn't just do a needle biopsy but needed to try to remove as much as they could of whatever it is. So they did that yesterday and he came through that OK, was in ICU until late morning today, when they moved him back to the Neuro floor. What they found was a large pocket of fluid like a cist surrounded by some necrotic tissue which they removed as much as they could for pathology. We won't get those reports for several days however. Initial pathology did not find any cancer cells but they are still not sure what they are dealing with.
He improved quite a bit during the day today. Don't know when they might let him come home. We have to go through some physical and occupational therapy yet. I've got to get a ramp built asap. The house is fairly high, quite a few steps up to all the doors.
