Meet at the Marble Mountain Community Hall at 9:00 am
Leaders: Lynn Zimmerman, 756-2872, zimmer@seaside.ns.ca and Carolyn Chant, 756-9085, cg.serenity@seaside.ns.ca
We will travel up past Calder's gravel pit off Marble Mountain Road, exploring field and forest habitats with a bonus spectacular view of the Bras d'Or from elevation. Some light hiking (dirt road) will be involved. Eagles are always plentiful in this area. Time permitting, a visit to the lakeshore and beach is a 5 minute walk from the community hall. Lunch will be provided, so please contact the trip leaders if you wish to attend.
"Early Birders" are encouraged to stop at the bay in West Bay (possibly heron and other shore birds) and/or Lime Hill cemetery (a diverse and plentiful bird population is always found).
